Bumbling Bob Goes to Florida
The night before the icast-con, and all through the town,
Bob the businessman prepped in his pants of brown.
His invention was packed on its trailer with care,
A boat-weighing gizmo, odd beyond compare.
He spent tens of thousands, his wallet grew thin,
For the fishing convention was where he'd begin.
But his mind quickly wandered from his grand scheme,
When he met a blonde influencer, the stuff of his dreams.
She stood by his booth with followers in tow,
Her beauty, her presence, a radiant glow.
Bob's eyes sparkled bright, his heart skipped a beat,
Forgetting his mission, he moved with quick feet.
He all but forgot about the heavy boat thingy,
Why focus on boats when you can think with your dingy?
He whispered and flirted, tried hard to impress,
With hopes that his charm would lead to success.
The blonde played along with a wink and a smile,
Stringing Bob on, making it all worth his while.
His wife far away, her trust left to fend,
While Bob pursued folly, a means to an end.
His boat-weighing gizmo sat lonely and cold,
Ignored by its creator, whose morals were sold.
He spent all his time in pursuit of the blonde,
A shadow of manhood, a pawn of her wand.
But when morning light dawned on that fateful day,
Bob realized the price of his wandering way.
His money all spent on a fruitless affair,
His heart heavy laden with guilt and despair.
Back home he returned, to face what he'd lost,
The cost of his folly, the terrible cost.
And so let this tale be a lesson for sure,
That straying from virtue brings loss to endure.
